About OFMD Big Bang
The OFMD Big Bang is an annual writing challenge for the Our Flag Means Death fandom.Authors will complete stories of 10,000 words or more over the course of four months, and these stories are claimed by artists who create works to go along with the story.Final stories and their accompanying artwork will be posted over the course of several weeks (depending on the number of works). At the end of the bang, all story links will be compiled into a masterpost.The OFMD Big Bang event is about collaboration and shared delight - taking joy in our shared love of Our Flag Means Death and its celebration of the value of loving, kind community and found family! Cat (poorlyformed, they/them) has been a mod for the OFMD Big Bang since its beginning. They have been in fandom for a very very long time (comics, popslash, due south, spn, hp, hockey rpf, dragon age, and good omens being the major ones before ofmd.). They have been involved in numerous fandom events as both participant and organizer. You can find them at stupidlullabies on tumblr and bluesky (or check out their art: https://linktr.ee/poorlyformed.) They are a huge Ed/Stede fan, but their favorite crew member is Frenchie.

Ignisentis (she/her) has participated in two OFMD Big Bangs as an author. This is her second as a Mod, and she’s excited to see what everyone creates this year. She’s been in fandom for over a decade, and has written for SPN, Marvel, and The Old Guard before OFMD. Ed and Stede are her beloved favorite characters. Rae (she/her) participated in the OFMD Big Bang last year as a writer, and is excited to help out the mod team this year! Rae started fic writing in the ancient days of floppy discs and just returned to fanfiction with OFMD. Ed/Stede have her heart forever, but she will always have a soft spot for Frenchie. boy (happydaiz, he/him) is a podficcer predominantly for OFMD but also Murderbot and a few other fandoms. He writes fic and very occasionally draws. He has not taken part in an OFMD Big Bang yet but has done two Reverse BBs, several audio events, and a BB in another fandom. OFMD is his first fandom and he's always excited to see what amazing new things people create. The talent on this ship!
